First, as many of you may know - the very first clue for the new week is going to be presented by Andrew and the team at Mugglenet. Their podcast will be released sometime on this Sunday and you'll want to hear them solve the riddle they've gotten - as the answer to that riddle will be the first password needed to start week 6. Note: that password won't go in the hpquest url. When the quest goes live on Tuesday, April 15 at noon EST - you'll learn what to do with the password then.

Secondly - we are pleased to have Chamber of Chat joining us this week to present a clue. They've created this amazing virtual clue for questers and we are so excited to be adding this component to the Quest. Many of you may already participate in CoC - some of you may not. We are encouraging you to go ahead and sign up for an account (it's free - they just have to have people register so they can enter the forum!). While the CoC mods and staff are on alert to process new people promptly - it can take time - and that's just how their system works...so if you sign up today - you should be good to go on Tuesday.

If you can't get the podcast, I believe Mugglenet will be posting pics of the trunk, book and riddle that the Mugglenet team got. One way or another - we'll make sure you are covered !

This is just a reminder, that if for *whatever* reason you can't get to something, we have plenty of people, including the admin and mods that will help you on your way. We want this experience of the quest to be pleasant for all involved.

welcome mature fan - you are not alone. once you get the hang of the forum you'll be in great shape. To check out chamber of chat, literally go to www.chamberofchat.com. You can chat with people, etc. For the purposes of next week, you're just going to want to be able to go on, search for something, do a few important spells that will lead you to a hidden area - only known to and for HPQuesters!!! I can't say much more at this point - but it should be a fun, interactive clue - a new dimension to the quest!

Normally, people go on CoC to chat with other HP fans...and they do a series of games or exercises run by the mods..

You might want to take a bit of time to learn how to cast spells and to check out all the rooms...
you are going to have a particular quest and you're going to have to do spells, find things, etc....in order to get to a special place to learn the next clue.

A word about casting spells at CoC. To the right when you look and see the "oval" between the two owls...that is where you cast spells. To learn about spells you can cast, you click on the book under the oval (next to the head) and you'll see spells you can do!

Have no fear - the HPQuest element on CoC is being -*test*-('")ed to make sure it works great.

As always - we are totally going to have an option for people who can't do this clue or who don't want to do it....don't worry...we'll have you covered!!!!

The HPQuest clue isn't live yet on CoC and we're all doublechecking it before it goes live to make sure it works like a champ.

Good question - actually there's a special spell for HP Questers that you'll learn when you do the clue - and we've had them make it a little easier for the Quest Tuesday just so it can be mastered fairly easily (some of those older ones I still take 10 time to get right!) ....

I'd just get used to making forms so you know how to execute the spell when you get it!

if you go to the slytherin common room in the CoC, there's a bottle on the table that says "polyjuice potion demetrious" but it won't let me drink it.

Are we going to have to drink it for the quest??

As I always say, you will always be able to do the week - whether or not you can do this CoC element. We always provide and option for those who cannot do a certain clue - so fear not!

Well, it doesn't really matter what time the pod cast starts. They have all their pod casts in a Gallery... you can just go when you have time and listen to it it's podcast number 141... I almost never have time to listen to the pod cast right when it comes live.

P.S. I hope Jamie is on. And I hope Andrew is on again this week. He randomly leaves without any notice... D:

Anybody having trouble not receiving their acceptance to CoC.... 2 things
1. Check your junk/spam mail folder
2. Go to there contact them and send them a note letting them know that you still havent gotten your registration email..... I did... and they finally fixed it
