Help!!

So my gaming skills are clearly lacking. I am having a bear of a time with that elf bridge game over at CoC. My first question is how do you get an elf to find the pieces?? I managed to save a couple elves from the trolls, but I set them down, and all they do is follow me. And I can't give them a command (like look for the --expletive-- pieces!)as far as I can tell. I haven't even gotten to the bridge building part yet, and I've been doing it for hours. The most I've been able to find is 9 pieces. I'm going to end up with RSI of my hands!!

I liked learning spells and hanging out with fellow questers much better...

they find them by walking near them. If you walk around and they follow you, so if you walk near a hidden piece the elf will follow you and find it.

I levi-corpused all my elves to safety then levi-corpused the pieces to the spot, then brought over my elves.

I hope it's okay to talk about strategies for the game. . .

yeah I tried to keep as many elves on the safety island as possible, but you have to have some elves out to find the pieces, right? Is there any way to tell roughly where the pieces are 'hidden'? I think it's horrible that the trolls keep regenerating, btw. Clearly the Dark Lord's work, that.

and just to clarify, i eventually want the pieces (and elves) near that round white thing towards the upper right of the fields?

are pieces in the same place each time you load the game? Sorry if these are spoilers, feel free to pm me, but I seriously cannot figure this out, and my hand is already going numb

I dunno exactly. As I flew around w/ my elf buddies in tow all the pieces showed up, so I just collected them later. Sounds like you're on the right track with the rest of it though.

oh maybe the elves don't have to be on the ground?! That would be so much easier. I am going to go try that now. Thanks a bunch!! I knew I could count on my fellow questers for help

Ok thanks again, I finally got through it this time. The elves took pity on me and found the pieces quickly

I just saw a book, then it said return to the lake or something, and it took me back to the beginning...sounds like that's all there is so far?

mine says i have found all the pieces but I cant gather more than 10 helpppppppp what do I do????

has anyone been able to get past the book that shows up after you beat the game?

(other than clicking on it bringing you back to the map)?

What's with the elves that just stand there like they're petrified? Won't walk, won't fly, and the trolls aren't interested in them.

I got 9 of my pieces once, sometimes there are definitely less pieces lying around than others, I can only find 4 this time. I quit for tonight.

unfortunately, the elves that are kinda see through ish, i believe are the ones that are dead

I just kind of stumbled around for a while until I read up on all the clues here! I can help you more if you send me a PM! The most I have done so far is beat the mini-game, and then it just took me back to the map.

Wow, this week is gonna be REALLY amasing - with all those games... Just did minigame, so much fun, and it's a pity it is all for now, we have to wait to know what is about, i suppose? It was a only one real trouble for me: to masterize "Reducio", the itube was a help - highly recommended for those who don't want to spend hours moving a mouse up and down:P

I guess I am not that much of a gamer anymore... *sigh* I can't figure out how to get my elves to pick up the pieces or levitate anything... I seem to get stuck and can't move. I am fairly good at decimating Trolls but that is just from the position I am struck swivelling in. Any hints/help?
