thought we could have a place to talk about CoC. please give feedback. right all set?

just explore - and definately practice spells!! they're kinda tricky....

it wont let me cast spells in the hallways,, only place I can get it to work is in the forest

HPQM has said multiple times that you don't HAVE to sign up. There will be an option B for that clue for people who can't or don't want to use CoC.

Has anyone gotten to the mini-game, yet? You get there by going to the Slytherin common room, drink the polyjuice potion and go back to Gringotts. You get reducto and go through the tunnel to the glowing gate. I'm having a hard time with the keyboard controls & the trolls keep killing my elves! Is this part of the quest?

the same thing happened to me when I clicked the book.....

if its for the quest, it may just not be up yet....in which case I guess we'll find out later....

Whew, cause I don't want to have to do that again. My poor elves kept dying.

There is a nice island at the far top of the area where you can keep your elves while you're collecting pieces. The trolls can't get them.

See the circle orb thing on the right side of the screen. Draw shapes in there to make spells. Beneath that is the map. Beneath the map is a spellbook, which shows you what you have to draw to do spells.

Some of the spells are tricky though, so even if you draw them right, they might not work.

Okay...I'm in the Slytherin common room and I found the Polyjuice Potion. I've clicked on it and it's asking me whether or not I want to drink it. I do. But, it won't let me click either choice. Whenever I do try to click on a choice, my avatar just walks underneath it. Has anyone else been experiencing this problem?

I don't even think your at Coc. I havne't seen any trolls or potions.

i found the polyjuice potion, but i didn't try anything with it except wander around

should we be able to cast spells on ourselves? i drank the polyjuice potion and now i am in the gringots tunnel. there is one spot where there appears to be a small/mini gate or something, and i've seen 2 people now "reducio" to themselves, shrink and go through. does anyone know how?
